Kevin's Birthday Weekend

We went to Kevin's cousin Andy's wedding and celebrated later at Nana & Papa's house with a cake Kellen made. Also, we went to the Denton Jazz Fest with Gram-Gram & Old Dude.

Karsten's First Taste of Food

Ohhhh, OKAY, he's a little bit spoiled. We take lots of pics of #3. Gram-Gram got to give Karsten his first taste of REAL (OK, sorta real) food: sweet potatoes. He LOVED it.

Easter and the Living Is Easy

Brothers in their Easter finery.

Pate-Dewey Cousins at Nana and Papa's house.

Look, Kieper! There's another egg!

Egg-hunting is fun.

Every boy for himself in this egg hunt.

Gram-Gram and Karsten just a swingin' after an awesome brunch made by Nana.

A serious face from a normally smiling Karsten (hey, I want in on those eggs!).

Nana and her grandchildren.

Swimming on a very warm Easter!

How did the Easter bunny know that Kellen likes NASCAR???

Wow! The Easter bunny must like race cars, too!

Thomas, Old Dude and Cookies

Hanging out on Nana & Papa's back porch.

Celebrating Old Dude's 64th Birthday at Javier's in Dallas. (Kellen went to his first "fancy" restaurant and was a perfect little gentleman!)

It's great to share birthdays with family.

Just goofin' around.

Gram-Gram and Karsten.

Karsten's first time in the high chair and his first taste of cereal (he loved it so much he took control of the spoon)!

Kellen & Kieper making cookies (or, eating the batter).

Train lovers unite! Of course we couldn't miss Thomas the Tank Engine when he rolled into town.

Kieper just started school with Kellen ... He's already doing the same lessons as the older kids.

Kellen doing his favorite lesson - the 100 board.

Just hanging out before bedtime ...

What else needs to be said??? He's an amazing blessing ("Happy, happy" = a Kellenism).

Flashing those baby blues ...

Holly, Jolly Christmas

Images from our Christmas holiday ... HE is the reason for the Season!

The boys wearing their jamies from Santa at home on Christmas Eve.

Kellen, Kieper and Cousin Morgan celebrating at Nana & Papa Pate's house.

Two little German boys (lederhosen a special gift from my Auntie Karen & Uncle Richard).

Who needs pants when you're opening Christmas presents? (Trust me, this is the least embarrassing of the photos ... we'll save THOSE to show to his first serious girlfriend.)

"Old Dude" on pants patrol. It was Gram-Gram and Old Dude's first Texas Christmas.

Karsten sleeping through his first Christmas.

Visiting Mama & Papa Wilson (Kevin's grandparents) in DeQuincy, Louisiana right after Christmas.

Kellen and Karsten meet Santa (Kieper wanted no part of Old St. Nick) at Stonebriar CC (Nana, Papa, Gram-Gram and Old Dude joined us for the Santa brunch).

The boys made tracks to the holiday train exhibit at NorthPark Center (and Mommy learned that she really could handle all three boys at the mall by herself).

Kel's friend Princess Sydney teaching him how to dance on Christmas Eve.

Kevin's Mom and Aunts (L-R) Kyra, Judy and Regina Kay visit us in Frisco during December.
